4. AI Student Verification (AISV) Plugin
- The AISV plugin does not collect, log, or store student IDs on our servers.
- All uploaded IDs are sent directly from the site owner’s WordPress installation to the
Google Gemini API (Paid version)
for verification and immediately discarded after processing.
- The plugin only returns a verification result (“approved” or “rejected”) and does not retain the document or personal data.
- Website owners should be aware that third-party form plugins (e.g., WPForms) may store uploaded IDs in WordPress entries unless configured not to. This is fully under the control of the site owner, not BDS Plugins.
- To ensure GDPR compliance, the AISV plugin requires use of the Paid Gemini API, which processes data under Google’s Data Processing Addendum and does not use content for model training.
- Debug logs and admin notifications generated by AISV do not contain full ID data.
5. Third-Party Services
- Google Gemini API: Used for student ID verification.
- Payment processors (Stripe/PayPal): Handle purchases and license transactions.
